A relaxed fatigue pant cut in 100% cotton twill, with a low rise, dropped crotch and an easy, slightly loose leg for comfort and movement.

The waist is elasticated with an internal drawstring, finished with cotton herringbone draw cords, while the leg tapers towards the hem and is deliberately cut to sit on top of the shoe rather than puddle over it. Large squared off patch pockets sit at the front, with oversized bellows and flap pockets at the back.

DESIGNER’S NOTES

The colour takes its cue from the original OG 107 olive green used in US military fatigues. This version starts a little darker, but the cloth was chosen because it softens and fades beautifully with wear.

I have been wearing the first sample for about six months now and it has changed completely. The colour has faded in all the right places and the cotton has almost moulded itself to fit.

They have had a fairly good stress test too. I even wore them taking the kids to Go Ape and they survived the zip wires, rough landings and general abuse without any problem.

The fit was always meant to feel relaxed, but not sloppy. The hem is kept shorter so it sits on top of the shoe rather than covering it. Sometimes the boots or trainers deserve to be seen.
