The body is straighter, the shoulder is softer and there is enough ease for the jacket to feel comfortable rather than overly tailored.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe starting point was the American sack jacket, but I liked the idea of combining that with a Neapolitan spalla camicia shoulder. They come from quite different tailoring traditions, but together they make the jacket feel much more relaxed and natural.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe internal cord, striped sleeve lining and herringbone tape are details you might not notice immediately, but they matter to me.
